For my Lenovo X60 tablet laptop I bought a new battery (manufacturer Patona) with his mounted rubber feet was unfortunately not as good as the orginal battery. The rubber feet are also disposed of after 14 days. This clip is inserted at the side of the battery and on the underside I glued a non-slip rubber, the problem is solved. The laptop is back safe and wobbles even more because of the replacement battery is not identical with the original battery.

This is a battery box designed as a module in OpenSCAD, that allows you to make a holder for 1 to as many as you like (or your OpenSCAD installation will want to compile) I needed a battery holder that could be screw mounted on a little robot and decided to design one that could be 3D printed. I have put comments in the OpenSCAD code, so if you want to modify things, it should be relatively easy to find the right spots to edit. If all you want to change is the number of cells, simply call the module with a different argument.

I'll have a video posted shortly detailing the winner and my plans to create it!This is a 3D Printed R2D2 powered with an Arduino. I started outsketching things on note cards, after that I looked up a bunch ofreference images on Google to work out the dimensions, then I went toTinkercad to start modeling it out. After that I printed the parts outusing PLA on my Robo 3D Printer. The biggest prints are the body thattook around 10 hours and the head that took about 6 hours to print. Therest of the parts took anywhere from 2-3 hours. The whole projecttotaled about 30 hours of printing time. I printed everything at 0.3mmlayer height but the quality can be improved if you decrease that.After it printed I handed it off to my wife so she could paint it.She picked up some plastic spray primer to help the paint stick. Thenshe painted on the details with acrylic paints and a brush. Then shegave it a clear coat afterwards to avoid damage to the paint job.It has 2 stepper motors to drive it, a servo motor to turn the head, a bluetooth module for communication, and an LED for his head/eye. This is a working catapult. After printing you will need to assemble the drum and put the dowel in the drum and upright. Then attach string to the two vertical end post and back to the drum and tie off on the pegs in the drum. The other L shaped piece attaches thru the hole in the bottom pail and rests against the gear. You use the catapult to wind the string around the drum pulling the two out side vertical post down. The L post should ratchet against the gear locking it.
