Case for Sanguinololu board to fit a 80mm fan. The case has thin walls and bottom (1.5mm). Top is 2mm thick. It has windows for the power cables, the bed and extruder resistors, and the usb cable. All other cables (motors, thermistors, endstops) exit from a single opening on the right side, so this case is for Sanguinololus that have their molex connectors aligned vertically (see photos).The SketchUp file also contains a cover to be used in place of the fan when storing the board, to protect it from dust.
After purchasing a Panelolu from Think3dPrint3d I decided to shrink it down and incorporate it in my new Prusa i3 frame!To be able to embed the display in the aluminium frame I had to down size the LCD to a 16x2 which I had lying around.This is now fully up and running on my printer.Enjoy!
This is a cover for the Sanguinololu controller board with tall sides to provide sufficient space for tall heatsinks on your stepper chips as well as a 50mm fan port for active cooling.You'll need to print this with support, and it's easiest to print with the fan port on the bed.
