The top of the Eastern Sambo Reef Totten Beacon carried an iron-framework vane to hold the letter “A” that once mounted inside. This model depicts the fallen beacon top as it is found underwater today.
Coral bommies are the perfect habitat for juvenile fish, often providing the only shelter that can keep them safe from currents and predators.If you look closely at this coral bommie you will see hundreds of little fish that have become embedded in the texture of this model because the real bommie was swarming with juvenile fish!

This is an artificial reef structure at Pemuteran on the north coast of Bali in Indonesia, it’s been built in the shape of a boxfish.A low electric current is passed through the steel structure which encourages mineral accretion on the structure which is an ideal medium for the growth of coral.
This Anchor, barely recognisable encrusted in coral growth, marks the dive site ‘Ankor’ reef on Menjangan Island in Indonesia. Connected to this Anchor by 60 meters of chain are the remains of an unknown trading vessel that met it’s faith on the reef.
